This was my own Valentine's Day treat to myself! I finished the front borders and backing the week before V-day. During the work week leading up to V-day, I did some quilting and binding. Valentine's Day was spent finishing my binding and quilting! I got to pop it in the washer and dryer on the 15th... and snuggle up with the wonderful, cozy, crinkly-ness that night, while watching my favorite Sunday night show.

I've learned so much while making this quilt! I'm no longer afraid to machine quilt. I don't think I'll go back to the days of yarn-tying large quilts. I haven't mastered free motion quilting, but I can do wavy lines! And that's good enough for me.

This is great! Glad that you are a crafty chick too! Look forward to watching your blog I have put it on my reader and I am going now to check out your etsy.
Hi Jodi! Thanks for stopping by. I added you to my reader too. :)
As for my etsy shop... that is SOOO out of date! HA! But yes, at least I'm keeping busy with crafting activities.
Oh, that's a pretty quilt.
I wanted to let you know that your ice cream flavor is York Peppermint Pattie. You can see a picture here. http://www.baskinrobbins.com/IceCream/regionalflavors.aspx
Thanks for playing and have fun.
Hugs,
Melinda
omg your fence! wow, did you do that or did it come that way?
Anonymous: My bf's friends did that to the fence. We offer them space on the back fence to tag, they don't get in trouble for tagging on private property, and we get free art work. Win-win-win.
yes, that grey goes with everything. your quilt looks great!
